Notes:

1) An OEM power supply can be controlled only by external TTL signals. A regular power supply allows both manual and external controls.
2) The 4 W handheld laser has no forced cooling due to its small size. Therefore, it can be used only at low duty cycle to avoid overheating.
3) When in super-pulse mode, the peak power level is dependent on model, pulse duration, and repetition rate.
4) Air-cooled lasers can operate continuously (100% duty cycle) with steady TEMoo output. They cost 10 to 20% more than water-cooled lasers.

IMA 100 series
Melles Griot IMA-series air cooled argon ion lasers use an integrated, hard-sealed mirror design that is maintenance free over the lifetime of the laser. IMA-series lasers may be operated in any orientation and still maintain the power stability necessary for long-term repeatable results.
