SLI has successfully developed, built, and tested, a fiber coupled diode laser assembly capable of producing 2 watts out of the fiber. The fiber bundle output of this unit is 650 microns, with a .22 NA, terminated in a SMA connector. The unit is water cooled via standard chiller unit. Additionally, the output connector can be provided to suit customers' specifications. This device has numerous applications in a variety of fields.

SLI has successfully developed its first high brightness fiber coupled diode laser for the applications of marking, welding, medical, printing, cutting and optical pumping. These fiber-coupled lasers offer high beam quality with output power up to 30 Watts at 808 nm through a 600 ¥ìm core fiber at 0.22 NA, all in a novel single box design. This innovative technology illustrates the leadership role of SLI in the field of high power diode lasers.

SLI has has production qualities available. The PDT unit consists of a fiber coupled diode laser assembly capable of producing 500 mW out of the fiber. The fiber bundle output of this unit is 400-600 microns. with 0.22 NA terminated In a SMA connector. The unit is TEC cooled as shown in the picture below and also can be manufactured for water cooled systems. Additionally, the output connector can be provided to suit customers' specifications. This device has numerous application in a variety of fields. Particularly, this unit was designed for PhotoDynamic Therapy (PDT) treatment.
